This vintage of Stretch Drive is another big winner, showing off a viscous, concentrated palate, and expressive, nuanced aromatics. In the glass, the wine exhibits a deep purple hue with a dark violet halo. Interwoven aromatic notes suggest currant, loam, pine bough and lilac. The palate experience offers a pleasing balancing act of dark, complex fruit and finely-integrated tannin. This bold fruit and structure are complimented by a bright acidity on the back end, drawing out to a long, floral finish.

A new release, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Anam Cara Reserve checks in as 93.4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Petit Verdot and even smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It‘s another gorgeous wine from this estate offering fabulous cassis and black raspberry-like fruit along with well-integrated spice and dried flower nuances.
